  3. I would be impressed if they wore rough wool clothes and wooden clogs, but they wear clothes made from synthetic products of the petroleum industry!

  4. They don't want oil and gas produced around the UK, so that we will have to rely on imports from....Russia! Think about it - who is likely funding them? Ditto for the anti-nuclear protestors - prevent the "enemies" from being self-reliant, it weakens them just like blockades did during WW1 and WW2.

  5. Misleading title. The biker did not "ram" anybody, but a protestor tried to pull him off his bike, which constitutes common assault. He could have reported this but....?

  6.  @sugarbertie1143  Not an excuse, it is an explanation. Every week there are reports of mentally ill people doing violent acts. This is a fact, not an insult. Covering it up doesn't help either the potential victims nor the mentally ill perpetrators.

  8. I'll bet they have been instructed to stay away, as these "protestors" seem to have mental issues and it would look bad if the police were beating up people with learning difficulties!
