  1. You forgot light, sound and heat! They are all forms of radiation. What matters is "ionising radiation" like Xrays, gamma and cosmic radiation and shortwave ultra-violet radiation.

  2. That's nothing. If you had treatment for cancer you would be given serious doses of radiation comparable with what the workers got at Chernobyl.
