The fuel cost display is very old, ULP is currently over $2, more like middle Diesel price, the bottom one is is for Liquified Petroloum Gas, LPG, used by car to run on gas (real gas not gasoline thatvUS calls GAS) which became popular for some time, it is under government decision to be kept at around 1/2 price of Gasoline ULP.
Also I would say this petrol station has large petrol discount active , while diesel is overly expensive as petrol and diesel are normally very similar.
ALL THESEVARE IN LITER VOLUME PRICING. US gallon is 3.58 liter. Plus at present AU$1 is under US$0.70, though was recently briefly up to $0.75, and down to $0.65.
Petrol in particular goes through regular rises and dips as various discounts are offered, even varying across the city. Diesel stays more stable often a bit above petrol price but also below maximum petrol price point.
