I still have a 1993/94 series 80 Diesel Landcruiser. Have had it since 1997, when purchased second hand, post Police dept use.
That was being a model then just being updated by Toyota to Series 100, which by now is to Series 300. Which presently is very much in demand on backorder for many months, the cost is $100,000 upwards. The Series 70 is more retro and very popular, and lower cost, but lower power and many lower spec details. However I love the manual transmission while the Series 300 is higher power/torque, full time 4WD, and ONLY 10spd Auto, no manual.
Hard choice as I am considering updating, as the current Series 80 is reaching 30 years age end of 2023.
