  1. Definitely British test, with Australian military support. Even had Australian live soldiers in trenches at several distances, and pilots took air samples flying through resulting clouds. Normal prevailing winds would have assured spreading residues direction NSW, Vic and New Zealand too. Aboriginals were forcibly removed from their homelands, and to this day are not allowed back. Radiation now is quite low, and unlikely harmful to short visits, but the area remains restricted access. No one seems to care about dust storms blowing materials from the area. Though Australia has many Uranium deposits anyway so has areas of raised radiation naturally. Big fear these days is Putin and his war on Ukraine. He is highly unlikely to accept defeat, and given continued heavier missile attacks may yet choose to flatten Ukraine with nukes, rather than accept defeat. We may yet live to see more mushroom clouds. HOPE FOR PEACE!
