Not eaten YET.
Of course he is interacting regularly with crocs that have such interactions frequently. He would be foolish to try the same just on any large croc he happens to encounter in the wild. Especially with a female near her nest of eggs.
Live like that and make a mistake, and likely that is your LAST mistake.
There is no margin for errors.
It is the likelyhood of Crocs trying to climb into the boat especially for people fishing from smaller motor boats, dare not use a small outboard tin dingy, that to me make those tourist, jumping crocodile spectaculars so dangerous. Bad enough that some Crocs are recognising when people are fishing that easy food is around to snatch off the line as the caught fish are being reeled in, but to teach by high launch from the water food can be snatched, makes it risky even for sizable cruisers, that a Croc may lead from water onto the deck.
A 4.5m croc for example got a person on the shoulder, on the deck of a house boat, while the family were having a evening barbeque. Almost dragged the person off the deck, but hitting the croc with some paddles, it let go and slid back into the water.
Quite a number of speed boats and larger have had transom or sides seriously damaged and outboard motors ripped of boats. The crocs associate boats with food source, not healthy for people in those boats.
The tourist operations use larger, reinforced boats, that most people towing boats on trailers just do not have or afford.
