  2.  @MrLace007  What I meant is that like France, Britain was powerless to do anything against the holocaust in the heat of the war unless you think Britain is god or greater than God or has divine power. Admitting a mistake you didn't make and taking a blame for something you couldn't do anything about is a kind of reverse arrogance. You are attributing to yourself powers you don't have and did not have. Check this out, why is Ireland or Spain or even France don't blame themselves or take it as a mistake even if we heard of the holocaust at the same time? Heck, we had a concentration camp right here in the east of France, Struthof. It stopped functioning only in 1944. French Vichy participated WILLINGLY and with much zeal that surprised the Nazis in rounding innocent French Jews up and handing them over to the nazis. Yet, no French will blame France and admit a "mistake" that legitimate France did not commit. Don't forget too that all of the holocaust camps were in the Eastern part of Europe. You would have had to defeat nazi Germany, invade it in it's entirety and cross over to Poland and Czechoslovakia etc. to be able to do anything. Did you factor all these in before "admitting a mistake" you think you made but in reality did and could not have made?
