@Schmidtelpunkt Going around the moon is EASY. Landing on the moon and back is way more difficult and german nazi scientists were of no use here. Modern computers and innovative technologies developed during the space race made these possible. I can post a link to an article in LeFigaro.fr about one of the american female scientists whose work permitted man to land safely on the moon and back to earth.

@Schmidtelpunkt The russians, the chinese and recently the Indians and the Israelis have all done that BUT none has been able to land anybody on the moon and brought them back safely. The race was not about going to space or throwing things on the moon but about LANDING man on the moon and bringing him back safely. REAL Americans accomplished this several times not some runaway criminal nazi scientists. Do not fall for the internet BS promoted by simple-minded neo-bolchevique russian trolls.
