@BobaDavis God bless the USA for supporting the Kurds even for oil, gold, uranium, military bases, rare earth, oranges, mangoes, groundnuts, religion, cotton, scientific research, coal, high tech, cows, chicken, soybeans etc... The Kurds deserve USA protection after what they endured in the hands of Saddam Hussein and neighboring countries.

@huaiwei The Kurds directly administer more than 90% of their territories today. Nothing happened to them in spite of the media hysteria claiming a sure genocide against them by Turkey because the USA was supposedly leaving.

@huaiwei The USA and Turkey are allies. They are not meant to militarily confront each other. So no need for 1000s of troops to dissuade an ally. 100 is enough and the ally gets the message. As a matter of fact, Turkey is a better, older and more valuable ally to the USA than the Kurds. By a 1000 miles.

@huaiwei Point is, Trump did not pull the entirety of the USA forces out as he as supposed to. He did pull out only 200 American soldiers. No difference with today had they stayed. Till today the Kurds control 90% of the territories they had before Turkish re-entry. Turkey is an ally of the USA. The Kurds never lost much to Turkey and Turkey never did anything against the Kurds contrary to the hysteria of the media accusing Trump of abandoning the Kurds in the "hands" of Turkish. As if Turkey was the ottoman empire or Putin's Russia. Turns out nothing happened. Furthermore, the USA does not need to leave thousands of soldiers to dissuade an ally. They are not meant to fight. Even 100 is enough as a dissuading factor. Let me state that Turkey is a better, older and more valuable ally to the USA than the Kurds. 100X more.
