Iraq had one of the most equiped and strongest armies in the world because of its deadly standoff with Iran. Have you ever heard about the iraq-war? It was one of the deadliest and meanest wars in the world. It's because no western nations were involved that it's not much talked about. Just like the Vietnam-China war. It was short and deadly especially for China but you don't hear people talking about it because we in the west talk and only care when are involved. Saddam's massively had all the weapons possible from the Soviet union and other countries and also produced many. It had tanks in excess, had artilleries, jet fighters, missiles in excess.
