Comments by "François Lechanceux" (@francoislechanceux5818) on "Indian government: We're sticking with Russia | DW News" video.
But Russia keeps supplying weapons to both Pakistan and China. Great ally of India. Lol
6
You mean the Soviet union. Not russia. Ukraine was part of the Soviet union then and the leader was a Ukrainian.
6
You made a very important point. The guy seems rather childish, confusing russia of today with the Soviet union. DW needs to modify the title of this video.

@Raja-dm7jk India, during the cold war, sided fully with the Soviet union. How could the West then back India against the nation that was helping them, Pakistan? A person cannot eat it's cake and still have it. It's entitlement to want that. You are correct however to use the word Soviet union and not Russia like the Indian guy in the interviews and also some in the comment section. Suffice it to say that today's russia is the only country in the world that supplies lethal weapons to both Pakistan and China.

The only country in the world that supplies lethal weapons to both Pakistan and China is russia.

Germans, Dutch and the Scandinavians are the Saxons in the word Anglo-saxons
3
alloutofbubblegum7271 And trying to assassinate indian opposition members outside of India.

Why are they not in Russia in the first place? Also there are 230000 Indian students in the USA. And only 12000 in Russia. Nothing to do with English because there are 470000 Chinese students in the USA and China does not speak English.
2
@svanimation8969 Geographically russia is closer to India than the USA. Why are they 4 million of them in the USA and less than 20k in Russia? I mean there are more Indians in many 3rd world countries than they are in Russia. Why? There are also more Indians in countries around Russia than they are in russia. Incredible. Indians are actually avoiding russia.
2
Lol. Do you even know what Anglo-saxon means? Who is the Saxon in that word ? The Germans mostly and the Scandinavians.
2
1804, division and sharing of Africa among European colonial powers in a conference in...Berlin. Under German supervision. Lol.
2
@vivek-420 Yes, we the French supply weapons to Pakistan too but we don't supply to China. Also what do you mean by better between the 2 countries you cited? The USA doesn't supply weapons to China. Russia supplies to both.
2
Lost respect. He seems pretty ignorant. The Soviet union is not Russia. And today, russia is the only country in the world that supplies lethal weapons to both Pakistan and China.
1
Nobody knows why China is aggressive around Indian borders? But Russia is the number one ally of China? Lol.
1
@Biswadeep621 @Biswadeep621 When did russia ever support India when in distress. Please don't talk about what happened more half a century ago. It was the Soviet union not Russia. And the leader of the Soviet union in that period was actually a Ukrainian. Now India stabs Ukrainians in the back. What is the moral of the story?
1
@Biswadeep621 Russia has never supported India in distress. The Soviet union is not Russia. Ukraine was part of the Soviet union then. And the leader of the Soviet union back then was a Ukrainian.
1
Julian Assange? Is he dead like...Boris Nemtsov, Anna Politkovskaya, natasha Estemirova, 30 oligarchs who tripped out of the windows or even Prigozhyn etc.?
1
@Nom_AnorVSJedi The Soviet union was led by the Soviet. And most of the leaders were not russians but Ukrainians. Now India backstab them by supporting an aggression against Ukraine.
1
@koushikdas1992 Russia of today under Putin is the only country in the world that supplies lethal weapons to both Pakistan and China. Great ally of India. Lol.

@anibeto7 During the peak of the cold war, with no reason India sided with the monstrous totalitarian communist country of the Soviet union. Every effort to make India change its mind and side with fellow democracies failed. Pakistan was staunchly anti communist and helped the West a lot. We can't abandon Pakistan now after it sacrificed a lot to help us defeat international communism. Is that what you are suggesting?
1
@anibeto7 The West can do and have done great without India. Can India do without the West? Certainly not. Remember, we made China what it is today. I lived through the cold war. It was not a joke as you implicitly say. It was a terrible existential war for us. India chose its camp against us camouflaged as neutrality. Detailed accounts show India stands, actions and reactions all through the cold war was anything but neutral. Still we strived, thrived and survived with the help of Pakistan. The camp of india and its ally the Soviet union lost. India is welcome to make the same mistake all over again. India had always had visionless leaders contrary to China. That explains why one is still dirt poor while the other has gone a long way out of poverty. During the cold war, China backed the West against the Soviet union. The reward was the concept of globalization to get our companies to invest in China. The rest is history. The stunning thing is, despite having English as an official language, Indian leaders preferred embracing their egos than developing their country and bringing it to the 21st century. In effect from a part of your comment, what you are saying and were hoping was that even when India deliberately turned its back on us and sided with our worst existential enemy, we should have bent over chanting salamaleks to India and accepting and giving it veverything. Wow. Sorry, India really has an exaggerated sense of its real importance and worth.

We don't trust India. I'm French. We just sold more weapons to Pakistan last week. And we have been Pakistan weapons supplier since several decades. We built submarines for Pakistan in Karachi some years back.

@johnnybrave7443 The Soviet union not Russia. Ukraine was part of the Soviet union then and a Ukrainian was the president.

@johnnybrave7443 Do you know the only country in the world today that gives weapons to both China and Pakistan? It's Russia.
1
@johnnybrave7443 russia supplies arms to both Pakistan and China.
1
@itachi12642 russia supplies weapons to both Pakistan and China. Russia is China's main ally
1
@johnnybrave7443 Actually, Russia supplies a lot to Pakistan and even more to China. If Russia considered itself a real ally to India, it will not supply even a pistol to Pakistan and even more to China. Lol. But it supplies to both. Pakistan has been a steadfast friend of the USA during the cold war when India was with the Soviet union. The USA has the right to supply even more weapons to Pakistan today.
1
@johnnybrave7443 Btw, we France supply weapons to Pakistan too but not to China. We built submarines for Pakistan in Karachi. Lol. But only russia supplies weapons to both.
1
@johnnybrave7443 Yes. We want to supply more to India and Pakistan. We love the money. Because both countries are our friends not our allies. Like the USA we too don't sell weapons to ennemies of our real allies.
1
@Raja-dm7jk Slava China the number one country Russia considers as its ally.
1
@Raja-dm7jk SLAVA TALIBAN. SLAVA AFGHANISTAN. ALLAH AKBAR!!!!

@madhukarmurthi9064 You are believing the wrong chronology. India first sided With the totalitarian Soviet union before Pakistan sided with us. God Bless Pakistan for helping us in that existential confrontation with the Soviet union. The cold war was not a joke for us especially when we saw how horribly eastern European countries were fairing in all fields and areas. BTW, we built deadly submarines for Pakistan right there in Karachi. From the look of things russia seems to place its relations and alliance with China way above its relations and friendship with India. Hence Russia is the number one foreign weapons supplier to China. Russia supplies weapons to Pakistan too. It's impossible for a western country to supply weapons to a country antagonistic to a country that is an ally. Looks like russia doesn't care.
1
@madhukarmurthi9064 I think we are not supplying enough weapons to Pakistan. A nation that backed us in our greatest our hour of need. Rafale and a lot more F-16 should be supplied to Pakistan. Actually russia supplies much more weapons to Pakistan than that and they both reaffirmed their friendship just a few weeks ago. More russian weapons would have been coming but for the war going on. Also, during the deadly border crisis between India and China, China demanded that russia suspends weapons delivery to India and Russia accepted. Even when the payments had been completed. Last year according to a short put out by Palki Sharma, Russia twisted India's arms and forced India to pay for russian oil in Chinese currency. Something India swore it would never do. Russia threatened India to cut off the cheap oil supply. India bowed down. Btw, russia is also supplying cheap oil to Pakistan too.

@YashSharma-iv7ok If you believe that georgekleifelter is from the USA because he claims so, I have a Taj Mahal in vladivostok to sell to you for one Ruble.
1
@madhukarmurthi9064 We have no ethics? We had a lot more than the totalitarian Soviets, yet India backed them totally while hiding under the camouflage of neutrality.
1
@thorkushari4027 Believe what you want. Truth is India was aligned even if discreetly. Even the words of Indian personalities of that period fully attest to this open fact. BTW, UK and Western Europe did not follow the USA, we followed our ideology, principles and values. All these originated in Europe and America adopted them from us.
