Why make it known to the side you support that this is your last chance? I want to believe the West never said that or felt that way towards Ukraine and this over-mediatised counter-attack. If this was the case, then it's great and terrible at the same time to be dependent on the West. Luckily, what I have heard over and over again from the EU and the USA is that they will support Ukraine as long as it takes. It's the western media that made up this last chance angle about Ukraine's counterattack because it's dramatic and it sells.
