Actually, the USA doesn't have more issues than most countries of the world. It's just that American media first, then world are over and hyper obsessed with the USA and it's problemes are overblown, "hysterised" or "hystericalised" to make views and consequently money. As a French, ever since I was a kid, America crushes the news every day 365 days a year even when there's nothing happening there and much happening in France, in Europe or around the world. It's like magic. And the French masses never ever get enough. So the French media feed them more and more and more... The USA is so engraved deep in our minds that for almost every French citizens instinctively the world outside of France starts with the USA and ends with the USA. Except somehow the UK, the rest of the world our European neighbors are largely ignored.

@timmy-wj2hc Here's a little fact that is hardly known; the USA has more 12 million high value added patents accumulated over a period of more than 180 years. That's more than the ten next countries combined. Better still, the USA still produces more patients than any other country on earth in some years and often 2nd in few other years. If it continues this way, the likelihood of any country catching up with the USA is nil. Not in the next one thousand years.

@Hakltz Not just that. The USA has 12 million high value patents already. No nation comes even a distant second. Yet the USA continues to produce more than others. I'm not American too. I'm French.

@timmy-wj2hc But they were in America not Russia or China and they studied in America not in Russia or China. America educated them, it's a free country, they can go to Africa or the moon or their country. What is the big deal?

@2greenify The best chips are designed in the USA. They are manufactured in Taiwan or the Netherlands or south Korea. But brain is in the USA. Also, the patents are actually American. Even the ones produced in Taiwan are done under American licenses.

@RealPlatoishere Actually, American Americans innovate more than others. Microprocessors, computers, planes, phones etc. were invented when there were few foreigners in any sector in that country. Pure Americans created the Silicon valley

@justsain3236 The plane is not 25 billion dollars. The money NASA put in it, the UK has it several times over. Russia too. France too. Germany too. India too. Saudi Arabia too. China too. South Korea too.

@OfficialFA The 477 billion dollars Putin is spending on the war in Ukraine, can't Russia invest it research. No. Even if it does, it will come up to nothing. Russia spent 44 billion euros for the Sotchi games. Think about the innovative researches that could launched with that amount. China still copies the USA a lot despite having so much money. Nothing to do with printing or having money. The EU and China actually now prints more money than the USA.

America was built and already great when these hungry immigrants started going there. America gave them unique opportunities inexistent in their countries to origin. @BeatriceManlabao No most engineers in NASA are pure several generations Americans. It's forbidden for foreigners to work in strategic companies in the USA such as NASA, SpaceX, DRAPA, Lockheed Martin etc... it's against the law.

@jeffc1753 Bro, no. It's a TOTAL lie. The USA has never and is not pale in comparison to other countries when it comes to education. Take it from me. It's an invention of your mass media because it sells. Take this simple fact; you have the best universities in the world. When American students get into those universities they are not in anyway stranded or lost. Quite the contrary. How is that possible if the educational system whence they emerge was defective or paler than those who don't have universities as great as America's. For those who will say there are too many foreigners in America tertiary institutions, let them know these facts; foreigners in America tertiary educational institutions represent less than 5% of the students. Out of 17 million students in tertiary institutions in the USA, only 947000 are foreigners. In other words, Americans make up 95% of the students in the best universities in the world. Out of the 100 best universities in the world, one country alone has more than 47 universities. That country is your country; the USA. The marvelous thing, is the overwhelming majority of American students that get admitted into these universities; the best in the world, finish their studies till graduations. In certain countries such as mine; France, and it's worst in Germany and other countries, the majority of the students who get into universities in our various countries do not pursue their studies till graduations. They fall off along the line. First, second, third year... But typical, the media in those countries including here in France, don't talk about it or in hush hush tones. American educational system and standard is actually top notch and among the best in the world. Lastly, contrary to what many believe; again because of your media; America is one of the 10 most educated people on earth. My country France and Germany or Russia are not in the first 10. Americans are also among those who read the most books in the world. And American authors and writers are the most read and the most cited in the world whatever the domains.

@xiphoid2011 Foreign students go to the USA because of the very excellence Americans have created. It didn't fall off the sky. These foreign students did not bring excellence. They found excellence in the USA, that's why they went there in the 1st place in spite of the high cost of tertiary education in that country. They are not going to russia even when education is almost free.

@leynagh I'm French. Tell me why no other country in the world bought the Concorde? Not even russia and China. Why ? Tell me why even France and Britain bought very few Concorde planes ? Don't tell me all these is because of America. Lol. You will be lowkey telling us that Americans have the power of demigods. They don't.
