@Li_Yifei The global food crisis is because russia is blocking Ukrainian wheat. Secondly, the pseudo global food crisis is simply an INDIRECT effect. Not a direct one. Since animals that feed on these grains now cost more to feed them, prices go high.

@joerogain5025 Even before this war, I never for ONCE believed russia was the 2nd military power. Russian trolls and even Putin himself made sooooo much noises about russian military capacities and weapons that I knew something was fishy. It was like a ''compensation'' for a weakness they knew existed but did not want the world to know.

Or you will be jailed for a very long time under TERRIBLE medieval conditions. You cannot even use the word ''war'' to describe the war in Ukraine. You will be jailed for 15 years. No, the people of Donbass region NEVER formally and freely voted to get separated from Ukraine.

NOTHING. That's why russia's GDP is inferior to the GDP of South Korea or even that of the state of Texas. Note that Texas is neither the richest state in the US nor the second richest. Yet its GDP is superior to the GDP of russia.

@myvoiceafrica254 Of course russia is prepared...just like north korea. When there famine in north korea, the power in place became stronger and the country become more quiet, more silent, more PEACEFUL and in the TV, people were HAPPIER. No protest, no criticism of the president and his ministers etc...

@myvoiceafrica254 Not at all. It's the war in Ukraine NOT the sanctions on russia that has some tiny but very LIMITED effect on the world outside of the war area. Even at that, it's because Ukrainians are NOT exporting their grains that this is happening. BTW, russians are STEALING Ukrainian grains and selling them to some backwater countries such as Syria and Venezuela.

@myvoiceafrica254 It's NOT a proxy war. This is a DIRECT war between russia and Ukraine alone. Russia has indirectly been at war with Ukraine since 2014. The problem in Ukraine was an INTERNAL problem. A foreign counbtry such as russia has absolutely no right to intervene militarily and annex a region of another country because of an internal crisis. Just like Ukraine or Turkey has no right to attack russia and take a part of russian territory because of russia's internal problem in Chechnya. Do you understand that ? After taking the Crimea russia used the Minks accord to try to take the entire Donbass. Ukraine accepted to apply the Minks accord AFTER the separatists lay down their weapons. Russia refused. That is why the conflict continued.
