South Africa would be dishonoring itself if Putin comes in that country for the BRICS summit and leaves safely without being him arrested.

@soreeyez Nothing to do with western anything. The ICC is an international court recognized by South Africa and she independently became a member. It helped her end apartheid and she was happy and grateful for this. She can't turn around and spit on an institution that helped and served her in the past. If she allows Putin safely in and out of SA, she should then leave the ICC. No problem about that.

@soreeyez Not just gratitude but help to keep the same organization going. Why destroy it or help destroy it so it can't and doesn't help other needy nations in the future ? It's like an ungrateful dude who after being helped turns around and destroys the bridge that helped it cross the deep sea in a stormy weather. No member country will respect and believe in the ICC again if indicted war criminals can freely travel back and forth to member countries. The ICC will become a joke. Even south Africa will lose its respect for that institution that so much helped it in the not so distant past. After Putin's safe visit, will south Africa or any of its member country ever confidently call on the ICC ever again? Will the ICC ever confidently and fearlessly ever do its duty and job again? Of course not. South Africa wants to kill the ICC that once helped it...all for a war mongering heartless inhuman who took it upon himself to attack and invade a country that did not attack it. BTW, Putin had said publicly that the deportation of Ukrainian children and their subsequent forced adoption in Russian families is his idea and he encouraged it. Including russian laws that erased these children's past and parents and Ukrainian links so they cannot be found again thus making these childrenbfull russians. He said this on Russian TV several months before the ICC indictment. And that lady he put in charge of the kidnapping and the placement in Russian families of Ukrainian children was present. Later he decorated her publicly. Yes, south Africa will have no honor or respect after Putin's visit. Putin is not worth South Africa destroying it's former helper the ICC.

@lovyrituraj BRICS is like a G-20 group of countries. It's not an alliance. It's a discussion forum. 0 solidarity between them. Brazil publicly said it will arrest Putin if he comes to Brazil. India and China are at war on their border. Russia supplies weapons to Pakistan knowing that those weapons will be used against India a BRICS member because Pakistan and India are mortal enemies...

@Kayasvadji Cheap excuse. Putin publicly said the abduction and forced adoption to Russian families of Ukrainian children is his idea and the Russian state encouraged and financed it. He said this about 4 months before the ICC indictment. He also publicly decorated the woman he had put in charge of this crime. The douma passed a law making the adoption of Ukrainian kids ultra rapid. A matter of 3 days without extensive vetting of the background of the adopting families. Worse another law imagined by Putin erases the past of the Ukrainian kids put up for adoption and all their links with Ukraine and their real Ukrainian familles. This is to make them real russians.
