@benscrwbiutb9800 He is just looking for ''likes''. Many of them are just roaming the net desperately for ''likes'' to validate their empty lives.

What I find fascinating is how so many people can get a simple fact so inaccurate. This day does not mark the withdrawal of US forces in Afghanistan BUT of the evacuation of Afghan civilians who had worked for the USA. Nuance. American forces had ALL left Afghanistan 3 weeks earlier on. They had to come back after the fall of Kabul from the hands of the Afghan govt. The USA evacuated 120000 Afghans in 2 weeks. Is there any other nation on Earth that can accomplish this feat ?

Childish comment.

@oofballz4328 It took 6 months for the US armies and allies to move SLOWLY out of Afghanistan. Which they did WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. Before the Taliban entered in to Kabul, there were no American or British soldiers in Afghanistan. 3 weeks after the last departure of US and allied soldiers, the Afghan president fled leaving the way for the entry of the Talibans in Kabul. The Americans had to COME BACK, took and secured the airport to EVACUATE AFGHAN CIVILIANS who had worked for them and for the allies. In 2 weeks, Americans evacuated 120000 afghan civilians. NOT American or allied soldiers. What the British asked the Americans was to extend beyond the 30th of August the period of the afghan civilians' evacuation not US or British or allied soldiers. That people and journalists who followed all these events, even the real departures of American, British and other allied soldiers, then LATER the running away of the Afghan president 3 weeks AFTER the departure of foreign troops, then the entry of the Taliban in Kabul with NO foreign soldiers there, then the coming BACK of US soldiers to RETAKE the airport and start evacuating ONLY Afghan civilians do not say this is simply stunning. This is the way the media manipulate those who do not pay CAREFUL attention.

Blaming the USA is a sport widely and massively practiced around the world. It takes away the sense of responsibility of the people of the world. So sweet, so convenient. The US is next to God. If you cannot blame God, you blame the USA. Both rich and poor world's citizens and elite and journalists do it and ALL the time. I'm French. I know what I'm talking about.
