Germany is looking for excuses and justifications to cover its shameful and cowardly reactions to the brutal war going on at its doorstep. 80 years after WW2, is it the USA that should be intervening so massively in a conflict on our continent?

Germans are looking for excuses to justify their lukewarm pro-Russia and anti Ukraine actions since 2008 when Germany prevented Ukraine from entering NATO.

@gluteusmaximus1657 Let's be honest. The support Germany gave to the eastern European countries was for Germany's benefits. Germany seems too pro-Russian. Germany and my country France gave Georgian territories to Putin. Germany and France gave Crimea to Putin. Germany and France let Russia take and keep a part of Moldova. Germany and France continued selling military equipments to Russia even after 2014 and the annexation of Crimea. Germany only backed reluctantly by France prevented Ukraine from entering into NATO just to appease Putin at the expense of Ukraine and east European countries even as Germany has been enjoying NATO protection since 1949. Germany built north stream 2 bypassing Poland and Ukraine all for Germany's selfish benefits. Even with 170000 russian soldiers entering Ukraine with tanks, jet fighters, missiles etc Germany proposed 5000 helmets to Ukraine...
