  1. Unfortunately France and Germany LOVE making concessions to Russia with NOTHING in return. Examples abound; Stopping Ukraine and Georgia from joining NATO decades ago (russia could not have been able to stop it back then and there would have been peace today just as there's peace in the Baltic states and russia. Ukraine would also have been whole today). Letting russia in the negotiating table take and keep territories directly and/or via her proxies; Donbass and Crimea in Ukraine, 2 provinces in Georgia, and even a region of Moldavia. France and Germany EMBOLDENED russia all these years with their munich kind of concessions. Now the monster cannot be easily stopped.

I mean Russia is one of the most imperialistic countries on Earth. And she clearly longs to increase her imperialistic capacity the more.

Only via their governments; from the fanatical Bolsheviks to the dumb Soviets and now to the noisy Putinists...a long line of classless, crude, sanguinary and visionless leaders. But the worst I think is the LITTLE or to NO reaction from the russian people to snatch some level of freedom and dignity from these awful bunch. It's this lack of reaction to centuries of oppression (from the tsarist period included) that is an indictment of the REAL russian people than just the external policies of their govts. Now Putin wants to spend a whopping 36 years in power much like many african dictators. And the Russian people are accepting that without protesting. Geeeeh!
