  1. ​ @aidanclarke6106 He is right. We talk too much and act very little. Also we are obsessed with America as if we are jealous of the power of that country. DW never pronounced Trump or the USA once but the French guy did 3 or 4 times. Also France is still not spending 2% of its GDP for its own defense like many European countries. Even more revealing, France is not among the top countries that helped or is helping Ukraine militarily. Should I remind everyone that France refused to put its nuclear weapons for collective European protection? We love blablabla like we like the sound of our voices. Du baratin!

  2. In France we call it "planer". It's like floating in the air. Being delusional. It's a French characteristic. An European army to take on Russia without the USA? Lol. We will do the same thing we did when Germany attacked Poland. Nothing. And that will not stop us from sleeping soundly. We love talking too much but France is not spending 2% yet for its own defense and France is not among the top military helpers of Ukraine since the beginning of this war.

  4.  @davidblair9877  Point is, it doesn't matter what level of relevance the EU has reached or could later reach in any situation, it would invariably be for the benefit of practically only France and Germany. I'm French I know how we use the EU to our sole advantage in Africa and Asian mostly. Also, I know how we belittle or even blacklist out of our media and minds any European project we are not leading or that we are not part of. It's ingrained in us. The EU is France first or nothing.
