Many of them live in a relatively democratic setting. Something Russians don't know and have never known since their existence. @marvellous01k It's really cruel wanting an attacked and bombed nation not to be help to defend itself, its territory, its people and its very existence. Such level of cruelty is beyond me. You would want Ukraine not to be helped but be abandoned to slaughtered by its historical and mortal enemy; the Russian people? Ever heard of Holodomor? Created and implemented by the Russian people, it caused the death of 7 million Ukrainian men, women and children in the early 30s. Will you wish that to your people even if you are russian?

Also, have russian neo-nazis and far-right nationalists stopped attacking an killing Africans in russian major cities ? How about the bad treatments metted out to African students in russia ? back in days and even recently, defenceless african students of Patrice Lumumba university in Moscow were also regularly attacked by russians. Yet, globally, there are very African students in russia. Also, why are they so few African in russia ? They are more African immigrants in Poland or Turkey than in the entire russia. This is telling.

Russia has been looking for soldiers all over the place; in syria, in chechnya, in iran, in north korea, in their prisons and now in Afganistan. Also, South Africa voted against russia in condemning the annexation of Ukrainian territories. South Africa voted against russia in condemning this war at the UN. It did not even abstain like china. Iit voted outright against russia. At the UN, South Africa has voted more against russia since the start of this war than otherwise. Lol. Also, since some years now, Putin has said that Ukraine is not a country but a part of russia. 2 - Putin said Ukraine was governed by drug addicts and nazis and that he was going to go to Kyiv to rid Ukraine of the drug addicts and nazis governing it. 3 - Putin also said that Ukraine was committing a genocide in the Donbas, so he was going in to stop it and save the russian speaking people. But the UN noted no genocide in the Donbass. So in all these where did NATO push russia to the corner to so brutally attack Ukraine and ukrainian civilians ?

@araara4746 There was no such written agreement. If it existed, russia would have presented it to the world a long time ago. Also, why attack only Ukraine when the 3 Baltic states are already members of NATO. And also Finland that has a longer border with russia than Ukraine is also joining NATO and Putin said it was alright that it does not disturb him.

@marvellous01k The US never annexed any part of the territories of Iraq or Afghanistan or any other. So there is a big difference. No country is a puppet of the US. Any country is free to refuse or accept the opinion of the US. On the other hand Syria, Belarus etc... are puppets of russia. They are not free to refuse any opinion of russia.
