@heyfitzpablum The USA conquered the Afghanistan and defeated the Taliban in 2 weeks. They occupied the entire country and kept the Taliban on the run for 20 years. The USA left when it became obvious that the Afghans didn't want to fight for their freedom and dignity. No wise nation will stay under the circumstances.

@antonsokolov1771 Even Putin in an interview said the professional Russian army has been fighting since day 1 in Ukraine. Please stop looking for childish excuses. Nations call reservists only when the regular army is wiped out or tired or overwhelmed or need massive support...and can't do much more or anything valuable without additional help. That's why reservists are called. That's why reservists exist and are created.

@antonsokolov1771 Putin called his war against Ukraine "Special MILITARY operation" not Special police operation". He massively used the regular and professional Russian army from the one. Now the regular russian army has been gutted and is nearly defeated. So Russia is desperately scrambling for 1M reservists. Real canon fodder.

After Holodomor made by Russians that caused 7 million deaths among Ukrainians, I can't see them ever abandoning the fight for their existence in their only country today. Holodomor bis that Russian people just unleashed again against Ukrainians will never succeed. The Russian historical desire to exterminate Ukrainians in silence like during the first Holodomor will fail. The world has changed but Russia is still mentally stuck in 20th century. The Jews will never stop fighting if German nazi were to invade Israel and try to subdue them. The consequences of not fighting till the end or of losing such a war is losing one's existence and/or country forever. Also, there are whispers all over the place that Ukraine has some kind of nukes that could delete an entire city like Moscow or St-Petersbourg. Putin will NEVER use nuke against Ukraine because Ukraine will retaliate too with nukes one way or the other.

We have a combined annual GDP of 44 trillion US dollars. A military budget of 1.2 trillion US dollars a year. @medico_goku Taliban are not a regular army. They are part of the Afghan civilian population. The USA can eliminate them in 24h but it will eliminate hundreds of thousands of Afghan civilians along the way. The Doha accord was in favor of the USA and in USA conditions. Have you read the Versailles treaty? It destroyed Germany economically, territorially, politically, geopolitically and demographically so deeply that it paved the way for WW2. You need to go back to school, kid.
