Clearly he places the USA and Americans on a way higher pedestal than the other peoples and countries of the world.

It never ceases to amaze. It's actually non-Americans that make America and Americans the center of the entire mankind. It's same in chinese videos online and medias. To them, the towering center of the world is the USA and consequently; Americans. Just like with russians, it's almost as if other countries and people don't exist except America and Americans.
