It is not enough to show that the alternate worlds in their present state do not violate the laws of physics. It must also be shown that its history since its diversion from our world was compliant with the laws of physics at every step until now. An alternate world in which I am having pizza for lunch with Elon Musk must come about from an alternate where a manned space program to Mars exists.
