  3. Jon Stewart has been bitten by the same bug as Maher. They both see that the current rhetoric is helping Republicans get elected, and they want it to stop. If the same rhetoric had gained the Oval Office and filibuster-proof majorities in the House and Senate for the Democrats, neither of them would be complaining.
