  47. The Democrats who are doing this are simply not thinking. Taking Trump off of the ballot in blue states can only help him, by galvanizing the Republican turn-out in those states. Even if the decision to remove Trump stands, a high enough Republican turn-out wins the state for DeSantis. Also, the high Republican turn-out wipes out every Democrat in a purple district, so the Republican lock on the House, and the state legislatures, gets stronger. And if the electoral votes going to DeSantis prevent Biden from securing the majority, the House of Representatives, which will be firmly in Republican hands, will award the presidency to Trump.
