  1. It's time to crowd-source a new SF franchise. A couple people to write a compelling script, a few artists to storyboard (and maybe even kick out a web comic to what the audience's appetites), another team to model and animate the 3d elements, some voice work and music, and using on-line video services to deliver the product with ads.
