  1. Civil asset forfeiture is really a double injustice, because the LEOs seizing the assets presume that they are the proceeds from drug trafficking. However, the federal drug laws violate the Tenth Amendment. So CAF violates both the Due Process clause and the Reserved Powers clause. And the libertarians in the audience will argue that criminalizing drugs is not a legitimate power of the government at any level.
