  1. This is what happens when the government as servant of the people becomes mere lip service. Instead of doing what is best for the Irish people, the government decided that it was more important to demonstrate their nobility on the world stage, by compensating for the abject dysfunction within other nations; or rather, making the Irish people bear the cost of that compensation.
