  1. The thing is, we have a photo from before The Force Awakens, which shows KK and a bunch of other non-males wearing t-shirts that say, "The Force is Female." It foretold that good storytelling was going to take a back seat to promoting an agenda. It wasn't fan pressure that made Rey a Mary Sue; that was entirely on Disney. It wasn't fan pressure that made Rian Johnson treat the franchise the way Beavis and Butthead would have treated a class assignment; that was entirely on him.
