The reason that the big government people are manning the barricades to prevent all cuts from any government program is that the moment a cut is implemented, whoever was profiting from the cut program no longer has a stake in big government and will cease to support it. Why do you think people like Bernie Sanders, whose own rhetoric speaks against corporate welfare in any form, has done nothing to eliminate it?
