  1. Yes, we can have a society in which everybody is financially responsible. We cannot have such a society and still have many of the features of our current society (such as gambling, government deficits, government subsidies for business, much of what Walmart has on its shelves, etc.).

  3. The main contributory cause is the courts permitting IP law to extend beyond the limits authorized by the US Constitution. It clearly reserves the right of reproduction to authors and inventors. The man Walt Disney created Mickey Mouse. Walt Disney Corporation did not. The man Walt Disney should have enjoyed copyright protection, Walt Disney Corporation should not.

  4. In a very real way, capitalism died when that court issued its ruling. A company should be run by its owners. If the minority does not like how a company is run, and cannot persuade the majority to its way of thinking, they have the option of selling their shares and finding another investment.

  5. This is a lesson that Walmart is just beginning to learn: If your suppliers outsource everything overseas, your domestic customers are thrown out of work and can't buy anything.
