@mistyculous9644 There's a movie where a woman that works from home has her identity switched for another female that is a wanted felon. Because she was hired over the internet; only a single individual in the company that she works for actually knows what she looks like. That person is murdered as is her techie friend that figured out what was going on. However, before her techie friend was killed, he wrote a virus that would undo all the digital manipulation that the evil people were doing and she is able to get the virus into one of the corporations computers and fire it off. That was either an 80's or 90's error movie as the obvious use of the 3.5 floppy to sneaker net the virus into the corporate computer.

@judaspreistvlct Was that movie beyond stupid; or was it a good warning for those that would like to isolate themselves from everyone and everything? A group of hackers that choose to make a combined, unified effort to switch someone's identity, could very well do it. Things are not as secure as you think they are.

@judaspreistvlct " I never said that there are not malevolent groups of hackers working day and night trying to do these things." "Just saying that movie was nothing but bad acting." Actually, you said; "And that movie was BEYOND STUPID." Which is statement that is used to judge the content and storyline, not the acting. I haven't seen it in a while so it may be that by todays standards, the acting is sub par. From what I remember, it was pretty good. Then again; I'm sixty years old and remembering something I watched 20 to 30 years ago. After that many years it is quite easy to forget any bad parts and only remember a movie based on how much you enjoyed watching the heroine of the movie takes out the villains that are trying to kill her.

@chardibinx Agreed. It would be fun if our protagonist just happened to be a retired female marine with several degrees in martial arts expertise and called on her fellow retired marines and the end with a battalion of marines retirees cleaning up the prob. Contrary to the action movies we've seen since the 80's, members of the special forces do not go into action alone. Doing so substantially increases the potential of mission failure and they don't like mission failures.
