Regarding Sadam's weapons of mass destruction; There is an Israeli source that states that prior to the war commencing, several large planes flew from Iraq to Damascus and that is where Sadam's WMD's are. If this is true, it will no doubt lead to the fulfillment of the following prophesy concerning Damascus. Isaiah 17:1: The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. Damascus is said to be the oldest city on earth and while often attacked and invaded, has never been completely destroyed, so the prophesy is a future event. While hidden WMDs is a possible cause of the prophesy coming to pass, I think it is also possible that Iran could succeed in building a nuclear missile. Fire it at Israel only to have it go off course and destroy Damascus instead. Such an incident would likely bring about an alliance between Israel, Egypt and Syria and the fulfillment of the following prophesy. Isaiah 19:23: In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. 24: In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: 25: Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
