@creamygoodness3018 Considering the fact that he has done some good things, I'm giving Mayor Duggan the benefit of the doubt. It was and is unreasonable to think that he could or would fix the subs prior to rebuilding the downtown business area. The massive debt and mess that the last few decades built up had to be taken care of first. Now that the downtown is back on the uptick, we will see if he follows through on his commitment to revitalize the whole of Detroit.

@creamygoodness3018 You need to update your news on Detroit. I'm not saying it's picture perfect, but it's a far cry from what it was 5 years ago. The current mayor of Detroit, a democrat in his second term, has done a good job in rectifying the issues that caused the downfall of Detroit. The question is: can he keep it up or are those that the people elect to the city council going to slack off and let things slide again. It takes hard, never ending dedicated intentional work to keep a city running properly. One solution to the Seattle issue is to criminally charge the mayor, the city council, the prosecutors and the judges that refuse to enforce the law with dereliction of duty, obstruction of justice and corruption in office.
