  1. @Nathan The Money Man There are employers who think that they are paying you more than you deserve to be paid. There are others who think you have an entitlement attitude because you expect to receive your paycheck in a timely manner. So yeah, sure, that's how you think until you become disabled and are denied SSI because the bureaucrat looks at your gender or age and refuses to accept your actual state of health. In their minds: 1. You're not disabled, you're perfectly healthy even if you did just come out of the hospital after heart surgery and can't walk ten feet without stopping to catch your breath. 2. You're perfectly healthy even if the hospital sent you home to die of cancer because your health insurance maxed out and they just keep denying you until your dead. 3.You're perfectly healthy even if you are wheel chair bound and have to lay down in your bed every two hours because of sores on you body that won't heal. They don't care that you paid into social security all of your working life and that all you want to do is get the benefits so you can get on with recovering, getting healthy and getting back to work. From their point of view, your just another dead beat that thinks he's entitled to something for nothing and trying to scam the system. That is the reality of how people are treated in America. That is the reality of the system! They require you to pay for a service, and then deny you the services!
