  36. The sad reality is that the war is completely unwinnable, all these lives lost for a war that no side can possibly win. The US will not allow a Ukraine loss and Russia will not allow a Ukraine victory, barring escalation, which is a realistic possibility this conflict will end in negotiations, all sides involved know this.

I am of the opinion that Putin would ultimately rather destroy himself and his people than lose this war, he truly is one dangerous individual.
