I dont think this is actually accurate, I've seen evidence that the majority of non conservative voters are non-white, it would also not make a lot of sense for the democratic party to be so open borders if that would mean them getting more republican voters, so this shift from the left to the right seems like due to ideological switching and more due to democratic overreach and far leftist stupid policies. Biden for example is not exactly a strong leader but regardless the democrats still won in 2020 in part due to immigration and in part due to big tech and the media doing their work for them while Biden hit in the basement. so I don't think the ethno-nats are wrong, it's just the democrates are more stupid than they realise.
