  1. Actually we don't, many of them have stopped being profitable and fall to donations from billionairs and big tech support to gain artifical traction and censorship of competition. Basically we have to beat them 5 to 1 to stay even and most people won't question the things they read, it's literally "consume product, don't question, get excited for next product" In the coming years they will become even less profitable which is why they will come after the internet even more.
