I have to disagree with you Styx if the USA had the balls to just allow Ukraine to be a NATO member and send in the troops to defend Ukraine if a russian attack happens, there would be no russian attack, the Russians don't want war, this is actually a russian tactic called escalate to descalate, by acting first you can then make it that you don't push them too far. doing nothing means war is invitable, which makes the USA look weak to it's allies and to China.

  5. Trump would have send in the troops to guard Ukraine and allow them to join NATO within a month or something, this threat of sanctions does very little to stop Putin and harms both Europe's economy that needs gas from Russia.
