lol, no wonder most of scandinavia looks so equal in terms of genders and so unstable. historically patriarchy made western and basically all societies work properly and gave woman great amount of respect, power and influence, they were just unequal in terms of roll they had by their gender. the problems I see is that woman in the west want the benefits of Patriarchy while at the same time wanting non of the responsabilities for the nation, the future and society, this can't work long term and you can see western nations are dying out and are being replaced in large part to patriarchy cultures. a rational compremise would be to bring back parts of the patriarchy and have the government support woman who desire to have large families, that way you can have empowered woman at the top based on merrit while another large part gain status and wealth by raising families and educating children, probably at home, communial, online or in private schools.

how so? the wars made sense from the perspective of wanting lands, resources, prestige or other defeating rivals that were outgrowing your economic output, the wars of the 21th century make no sense at all, where nations arm rebels to fight governments, to then fight those same rebels they armed with the governments they wanted to topple, or rebels being armed by one secret agency only to fight other rebels arms by another secret agency, wars are sometimes fought without declaring war on said nations since then they would have to behave according to the rules of war. the wars of the 20th century bloody as they were made more sense than wars today.

I don´t think that´s accurate, I´ve seen plenty of talk on climate change, major governments and corporations talk about it all the time, the media does as well, as well as big tech companies, movies, the thing has been promoted constantly. however what I´ve noticed is the solutions for it have been very weak, often times people who advocate for policies to ´´save the planet´´ end up harming it more, France for example met their CO2 immisions reduction over Germany despite Germany being much more filled with green energy and climate change fanatics, the reason for this is because France uses nuclear energy a lot more than Germany, while Germany has been busy destroying their nuclear power plants and reopening coal plants, likewise most of the western world has shifted their industries towards China which have much lower standards for polution and produce a lot more CO2 compared to the west, esspecialy Europe. I can´t say for sure if Climate change is the end of the world or not or if it´s exaggerated or taken conservative estemates since there are so many different studies to begin with so can´t know them all or if they are valid or not but the solution by those most focused on solving it have been the most incompetent and least effective group involved, unless they start calling for more nuclear energy and becoming more realistic about what´s going to happen, I find it hard to take the whole thing that serieusly.

@tlgoody fair enough, though I get most annoyed at the climate fanatics not seeing the easy solution in front of them, most people have accepted that climate change is real at best they don't know what the long term effects are going to be, the people who deny it exists either have other reasons for saying so, don't know anything on the matter or just trust that capitalism itself would find a solution and more and more there is some truth in this since governments shut down nuclear power plants in places like Germany and then reopen the coal plants, while also regulating them into oblivion, a free market might get enough funds for more nuclear power plants but since governments (often under climate fanatics) can shut it down for no reason.

@craigscott2315 nonsense, althist even made a video about this myth and explained why it's nonsense, Europe already was the wealthiest place on earth before colonalism and the richest nations are those that had little to no colonies or were not involved in the slave trade, furthermore after ww2 Europe gave up most of it's colonies who then dropped in economic output while Europe had an economic boom, basically there is no evidence that the Europeans gained much of anything from their colonies besides manpower in wars or specific resources that were usefull to them and they could not make themselves, like spices, sugar or coffie. nations like in south america are more poor while having a deeper hand in the slave traded compared to Europe that abolished it or the USA that abolished it after the civil war. Guns, Germs and Steel has some good points about how the USA became such a powerfull superpower compared to the rest of the world but it's wrong about European colonialism.

@craigscott2315 Haiti was from France and helped them fight the spanish i believe for independence, regardless the sugar kept flowing and today Haiti is quite poor, so somewhere, something went very wrong. resource rich countries tend to have dictatorships or lack of manufacturing hubs due to not having a need to innovate, some of the richest countries in the world are those with little to no resources, because it forces them to innovate, the few exceptions to this are the USA and the former USSR which had large amounts of resources and some major innovations in their economies, the USSR due to communism however would stagnate and collapse due to the nature of such ideologies but for a while they had some major improvements in certain sectors.

@enricobianchi4499 the problem with the Thanos snap is not that it´s 50% of the population or that it´s immoral but that it´s random, instead of trying to get rid of people who would be unable to contribute to the solution or which numbers and resources would not be able to sustain them long term or the existance of certain elites and types of people would likely lead to wars and social problems, it´s just completly random which would result in massive chaos, loss of competent people, remaining of elites or criminal elements that harm society, it´s just so bad and stupid for a silly emotional argument instead of a materialistic and logical one.
