@elenyaellis you sound like a troll, like this is something that reads like a script to trigger people because no sane person thinks like this.

@elenyaellis Germany is still very German, in that it is authoritarian, backwards, hates freedom and wants to project weakness while oppressing others. I think I liked it better as a militant society, much more honest.

If Germany started making AI killer robots and Drones, no matter how small their population size they would outproduce most of Europe and then if they took over Europe and perhaps even Russia it would very much be a superpower. Though at that point it would no longer be just Germany, it be something like the EU or a federal EU.

It kind of pisses me off how americans think Europe somehow can't defend itself or why it needs the USA anymore, the USA was needed for NATO to function during the cold war and only mildly today because of Russia. If the USA left within 2 years most European nations would be able to have enough military power to defend against Russia, we prefer the USA system because it's the status quo but it's not really nessisary anymore. Furthermore I don't understand the logic behind thinking the EU is going to collapse, it's been expanding since it was founded, is currently promoting a shared military industrial complex, trying to solve key issues effecting everyone as well as most major powers within it trying to federalize it because they know balkanization is not good for anyone, that being said the EU does have problems much like the USA had under the articles of confederation. The demografic issues, the far leftwing political parties in Germany and the rest of Europe and immigration are bigger issues today than the legacy of ww2 or the EU.
