your origin does not give any special value to whatever argument you are trying to make. your ancestors contribution to the US economy has been a net negative which if removed would have resulted in you still being in africa and the USA being even more wealthy than they are in our timeline, south america had the most slaves and they are more poor than the parts of north america that had no slaves or less slaves and the USA even had a civil war due to issues around slavery and the federal government. stop trying to justify your own victimhood complex and just be greatfull that you live in a better country than most people on the planet today.

12:04 I really hate this map because it's so wrong on so many levels, for starters all these nations do wage war on a regular basis, France got involved in Libya and is in west africa, Germany had to be put down twice to stop it's militarism and is now going to invest more in it's military as well as trying to form a EU army, the UK had the Falkland wars and is currently giving weapons to Ukraine, non of these nations don't have a great, modern and effective military they simply keep them small due to the USA being the world's super power, expansionism is literally impossible via the current system of global order. if tomorrow the USA suddenly collapsed all these nations would suddenly find themselves in the positions to expand, to grow and to make alliances with eachother, most likely push even harder for some collective EU army to defend against the biggest players on the board. the people don't really matter if they want or don't want a war, the only thing that they can worry about is if they win or not.

9:02 did you not like 40 seconds ago say that the age of barbarism was this aggressive, uncaring, vigor and power that expanded outward? is this not the whole communist/fascist/national socialist movement? how is trying to return to a state of ''purity'' and old norms just without christianity but replace with the state any different? it's like you consider christianity was not like this but that therefor all these movements were then somehow decadent? when in fact they were very much against this and wanted to put policies in place against such things? like I don't particularly like any of these ideologies but saying they were decadent seems very inaccurate and kind of dishonest.

if the USA left after ww2 then that would just mean the USSR takes over all of Europe which in turn would mean we would all be living in a totally different world, probably still a very dark age but not as bad as you imagine it since such a structure would have collapsed much sooner. the marshall plan was a loan, even without it we probably get the capital we need to grow again, just much slower, probably still have our empires since the main driving force to abandon them was the marshall plan that was worth more.

America is already in the process of laying the seeds of it's own resurrection, it's not fixed it can still fail but I see signs of space exploration and perhaps national expansionism at some point becoming the new primers for a new american age, however that all depends on if you can get rid of your decadent elites and change the culture of the people themselves which is harder said than done, Europe is in much the same situation except we have more problems to deal with than the USA.

9:28 in the early 2000s to 2010s saying this would get you labeled an extreme far right person, in 2022 it's much more mainstream and the leaders of today understand it at least a little bit better, we do live in an era of Decadence but indeed it's mostly the upper class and middle class that thinks like this and it indeed is due to self hatred but also propaganda.

there is so much wrong with your take that it's actually a sign that supports his argument, your ''logic'' is the decadence in motion and not understanding of reality that actual people of the lower classes have to deal with. there is nothing alt-right about this take, it's simply accurate which is why you have to pretend it's ''alt-right'' to not take it into account. most lower class people don't want more low skilled workers, why? because letting them in lowers wages, now highly skilled labor and educated people are a huge benefit to your nation since you basically steal years of upbringing and education costs from another nation to benefit your own, while taking in violent, aggresive, criminal and huge families from third world countries who's only skills are low skilled labour jobs aren't going to benefit your nation at all and in fact will be a net drain on few resources. you are wrong and simply repeating the establishment lines who live in their own bubbles, harm the lower classes and actually fuel the ''far right'' side of politics and the reason why is because you prove them wrong, all politics in Europe from 2000-2022 has slowly moved to more acceptance of so called ''far right'' views becoming mainstream, politicans of today would be considered far right in the early 2000s and they come from both the leftwing and rightwing. you are out of touch and not part of the working class or lower classes, otherwise you would not think these elitist, ideological things that don't match reality.

there is a sense of powerlessness in the modern era in that all the old ideas that made sense are dying or already dead, at the same time the powers that are decadent are the ones with the most power and influence on society to prevent any kind of revolt against the status quo, while at the same time economic growth has slowed down and people are more disconnected than ever. it's hard to view our society as being the best in the world or the most peacefull even while it is since it's so broken down to bare minimum of needs met instead of things that give meaning to people's lives, there are no great teachers, no great connections, great new ideas or means of really self improving yourself beyond merely going to the gym or studying for a degree to become another cog in the machine of the economic engine which can then be taxed into oblivion by elites that are out of touch with reality and openly mocking towards the working class. there is also the lack of god or religion to offer redemption for sins or promise of a better future be it heaven or anything material, how to overcome these trends? I don't know but the first step is knowing that this is the reality of many people today and that we have to look for new ways to improve our society in whatever small way we can. for starters be aware of your vices, try and give back to your community or country in whatever way you can, be humble, know your own limitations and try and surpass them if possible, keep a positive and stoic additude in life, be greatfull for the good things in life however small they may be, try and be happy for other people's joy and happiness even if it might give you a sense of envy, try and respect other people but also don't judge yourself too harshly if you distrust or dislike certain groups for whatever reason and don't let that stop you from trying to treat people fairly when possible, have a code of personal honour and rules you wish to maintain and be willing to admit whenever you have been proven wrong or have come to doubt something you held true for a long time.

both are decadent for different reasons, in Europe it's more due to the collapse of empires and the horrors of ww1 and ww2 as well as the difficult times from communism, fascism and national socialism. where as the USA is also decadent but more so due to their own indulgence and greed of elites while neglecting their own people's self interest, the thing is Europe is much smaller than the USA and the USA is much more isolated from the rest of the world, meaning that the USA can maintain their decadence for much longer while Europe it's more of a crisis of identity, this either means we decline further into collapse or we are forced to adapt or die, only time will tell which will win out.
