It's interesting to consider what China has to offer for both its own people and its potential allies in the case of a war. A lot of young men in China have no prospect for the future so the idea of going to war could be used as a means to gain people, resources, funds and woman as reward for soldiers fighting, basically plundering other countries to enrich themselves, it's also interesting to consider that China might simply blockade Taiwan and attack the islands around it that might not expect an attack, then building land to sea missile systems to further isolate Taiwan and starve them out. I believe India might not want to get involved but if they did Pakistan would get involved which might end in a smaller scale nuclear war between them. What's also interesting to consider is if the western powers will be able to motivate their own people to fight China, since the western world does not actually offer young men much of a future and thus there would need to be a new kind of social contract before something like conscription becomes possible otherwise people would just resist and vote for leaders that end up being pro China that avoids having another world war. If the west has its act together China and Russia have no chance of winning but if the west is divided then many might prefer China and/or Russia winning in order to focus on internal issues.

@donaldtrumplover2254 I mean to me it looks like they already have given up, they can't meet their recruitment quotas, they are going full woke like a communist regime does and seem deeply divided, the federal government could always just force in conscription but even if they don't the costs of going to war with China would mean much higher prices for goods and services which will mostly effect urban areas the most, people will protest and/or attack the federal government, hell they already do to a smaller degree from both political angles. My prediction is that if the USA can't deliver a quick and easy victory the nation is going to experience more civil unrest and political radicalism which may result in states leaving the union thus starting a civil war since the federal government does not allow states to leave the union. As unlikely as that might seem now, the USA is not as secure internally as it might seem, though that's assuming the worst outcome possible, probably some kind of new deal elitism will be formed to purge a lot of the toxic people in the US government and economic space to restore trust in the federal government but that's assuming people will continue to have faith in democracy which is at its lowest point in modern history.
