  2.  @Ramon-gg3bd  I can't remember the study but it's indeed true, diseases in any region gives a greater support for authoritarian governments, totalitarian thinking and xenophobia. the lockdowns are the problem, not the disease, anyone who claims otherwise does not know what he's talking about and just want more money, people like Fauci are a disgrace in my view.

To be honest the war in Ukraine is probably 4rd in line of why the UK is doing so bad, 1. is the incompetent government destroying their own economy with bad economic policies, refugees and migrants, 2. is the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns, 3. Aftermath of brexit and 4. The Ukraine war. Like the Ukraine war is not that high on the list of priorities right now.

It's weird how when there is a conflict in the middle-east or Africa the west is all for it even if it threatens their own national security but the moment another European country is threatened with war and proxy war that has killed over 14.000 people suddenly they can only send a few trainers and some gear. It's like we hate our allies but only care about our enemies.

What does effect your sperm quality and amount is how much you exercise, how much you sit, what you eat, if you smoke, get enough sleep, so on. Sperm rates and quality have been going down for a number of reasons but the biggest are smoking and less exercise, people in the past used to all do hard labor, mostly eat vegitables but also smoked a whole pack a day or use medicine which was sometimes just cocaïne.

  17. To be fair national socialism is kinda all over the place, taken all together I would say it's center left but extreme authoritarian. It's far left in it's origins for sure but in practice it merged both far left policies with far right policies ending around the center left spectrum.

He does however not mention how automation is going to effect economic growth, he seems to be stuck in the 20th century mode of thinking sometimes that you need a large labor force in order to compete, when it fact what you need is a very educated and forward thinking population in the right fields and a government that's sane and trying to do what's best for society, not what makes them feel good.

  21.  @peetky8645  that's age of consent, biologically speaking once a woman has had her first menstruation cycle she should be able to bear children, her body might not be fully grown depending on the woman so most societies even back in the medieval period would wait a few more years while finding a suitable husband but most woman would be married off at the age of 15-16 and become pregnant within the year if not sooner.

  28. don't watch F1 but from my experience most Dutch people are very proud of Max Verstappen and aren't very angry at Hamilton, only his couch seems to be pissed off about him not winning his 8th F1 world championship.

  29.  @differentlyabledmuslimjewi4475  it's a lose/lose situation for the people, if they don't act they lose their freedoms in the name of security, if they wish to hold on to their freedoms they must empower people to ensure it exists which will most likely lead to the loss of sayd freedoms in the process. if I were an authoritarian and wanted to make a liberal society authoritarian this would be the best way to do it, plus the labor can be used for economical gains, two bird one stone.

I know a lot of people here hate the EU and it's disfunctional for sure but I don't think Europe can return to just nation states like it was before, it would just mean being divided to be played on by other players like the USA, Russia and China. Not a good state to be in, if Europe would become a proper federation then eastern Europe would be the red states compared to western Europe which would be the blue states, if only we had a US style constitution to bind them both together.

It's kinda like a weird mix between a confederation, a supranational organisation and a federation, rather then combine the best of all worlds it's more like the worst of both worlds, though i doubt we will see it's end since it's merely a platform for it's true goal which is to provide a kind of "unity" against bigger global players like China, India, the USA, Russia and more and more countries in Afrika and Turkey. Though it does need to change and pick a side and run with it, probably is going to go for federation at some point with at best some confederational things thrown in like world cup and European football cups still being a thing.

  44.  @thebravewolf9195  fully agreed, now I would argue what they should advocate for more would be solidarity with European diaspora groups outside of the EU, sorta like the right of return but for native European members, you could leave it to the national states to enforce such laws but as diaspora groups they may not want to return to their native land of origin but perhaps a European nation within the same block. of course to do this would be to exclude others who don't qualify and that opens a whole other can of worms they are unlikely to touch. even better would be if they adressed the issue of political islam, chinese influence on our markets and perhaps seek to improve relations with Russia which Germany and France have already been doing to some degree but the relationship is quite tense and complicated with NATO and the USA involved as well.

  50. You guys do realise that Russia is already within Ukraine right? Both in Cremea, eastern donbast and has backed rebels in Moldova. The war in eastern Ukraine already has cost the lives of 14.000 people, that's not some border conflict, that's a full on war.
