It's weird how when there is a conflict in the middle-east or Africa the west is all for it even if it threatens their own national security but the moment another European country is threatened with war and proxy war that has killed over 14.000 people suddenly they can only send a few trainers and some gear. It's like we hate our allies but only care about our enemies.

  3. @SirSnufflelots Ukraine is a legit nation and they should be free to pick which side they want to be on and the NATO alliance are cowards if they don't stand up for Ukraine

I think it's a massive shame and disgrace that NATO is not doing anything it seems to defend Ukraine, people need to understand that nobody wants ww3 but not being willing to show force invites the dangers of war, if Ukraine today became a NATO member and the USA and it's allies rushed to match Russian military buildup then do you honestly think Russia is going to invade them? Of course not but what happens if Russia takes most/all of Ukraine? Then China and other nations are going to see that and say "ohhh it seems NATO does not want to act at all, well why can't I take country X then?" Russia could then go after Finland (not a NATO member), China after Taiwan, North Korea to South Korea, the list goes on, for the Alliance to be strong it has to act. Trump would have acted, Biden is just going to do nothing and the EU can only do sanctions, while Germany bends over to Russia, only Poland and France have any kind of military to respond with, it's disgracefull how weak the west has become.

  7. It hurts both, Russia needs the west and the west (due to stupid green policies of Germany and the EU) need Russia, the response will be harsh but not with hard power and that's the issue, if the USA used it's hard power the soft power of the EU would hurt Russia a lot.
