Depends on if Russia and USA team up again realy. Also UK has bigger problems then the EU right now or Germany, german leaders are kinda laughing at the UK right now, making popcorn, sorry but it's true and it's on the british to prove them wrong.

It's kinda like a weird mix between a confederation, a supranational organisation and a federation, rather then combine the best of all worlds it's more like the worst of both worlds, though i doubt we will see it's end since it's merely a platform for it's true goal which is to provide a kind of "unity" against bigger global players like China, India, the USA, Russia and more and more countries in Afrika and Turkey. Though it does need to change and pick a side and run with it, probably is going to go for federation at some point with at best some confederational things thrown in like world cup and European football cups still being a thing.

@thebravewolf9195 fully agreed, now I would argue what they should advocate for more would be solidarity with European diaspora groups outside of the EU, sorta like the right of return but for native European members, you could leave it to the national states to enforce such laws but as diaspora groups they may not want to return to their native land of origin but perhaps a European nation within the same block. of course to do this would be to exclude others who don't qualify and that opens a whole other can of worms they are unlikely to touch. even better would be if they adressed the issue of political islam, chinese influence on our markets and perhaps seek to improve relations with Russia which Germany and France have already been doing to some degree but the relationship is quite tense and complicated with NATO and the USA involved as well.

Belgium should just be divided between France and the Netherlands, change my mind.

I doubt that, I mean it's close but you can't sustain your total population, most nations can't actually, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia and Ukraine are the big ones. Not that it realy matters because people still want to sell stuff to the UK but in the case of war the UK is kinda fucked, esspecialy with the current leftwing insanity today, both on the islands and on the mainland lets not kid ourselfs.

The UK had 4 years to make sure that would happen and they don't even have a working trade deal with the EU their closest trading partner. What is the UK going to sell to the world? Jihadi's and transgender books? Im being honest here not because I want to make fun of the UK but because im worried and want them to succeed.

@shughy1 idk, UK was dicking around for 2 years with Therisa May, now Boris? Does not look good for both sides, how I see it. I fear the UK might collapse as in lose northern ireland and Scotland, that's how I see it, hope im wrong.
2
@thebravewolf9195 haha don't see that happening but who knows right?

You mean the Anglo sphere? UK is kinda gone man, the USA has been carrying the UK for decades now, most of the western world realy but esspecialy the UK.

@AJDOLDCHANNELARCHIVE that's not what i heared, it's why Churchil had food taken from colonies and why the germans attacked merchant ships from the USA, since they weren't going to defeat the british navy nor did they realy wanted to, they realy wanted to starve the british and force a truce. in the modern sense I doubt the british could pull it off today, not that they could not do it but that the chaos that comes from the disruption would cause collapse, things aren't as self contained and self reliant as they were in the past, now a small shock can destroy a nation. but it's possible with enough warning time and preparation im sure.
1
@AJDOLDCHANNELARCHIVE im sorry but i tend to take anything the Guardian mentions with a grain of salt and the people who conducted the experiment or something don't seem like experts but i could be wrong. but assuming they are correct, the fear of starvation real or imagined does lower moral, esspecialy if a peace deal were always on the table and with it fresh bread and butter. human beings always tend to be less heroic when hungry, I've noticed.
1
@AJDOLDCHANNELARCHIVE well if it's in the Guardian then I have my doubts, also does not mention for how long supplies would last, it's a bit odd that millions starved in india if these experts sayd that there would be no issue, kinda weird.

Think China is the bigger issue though.

@hannahdobbs226 China would love that for sure, doubt the americans will allow that to happen though.

Interesting view on what "save" means

I very much doubt the UK will get out of brexit in a good way, it's not that it can't be done or was a bad result, it's the UK government is just more fucked then people want to admit and I'm honestly worried if the UK will even survive as a country the next decade or so.

@2Potates arch enemy? Since when are the dutch the arch enemies of anyone, except the Spanish, the French, the English, the Germans, the Portugese and Morroco...
1
@2Potates I thought that was just France wanting to create a buffer state between the Netherlands and France because we were dominating the seas for a while, same with the british realy.

From their point of view the UK never was. Naw not realy, UK and EU actualy need eachother even if they don't realise it.
