Drugs are bad for sure but most people who get addicted do so because of the hopeless situation they find themselves in which sadly is much more common these days. Peter Hitchens does not have the heart or understanding of what should be happening, he is still stuck in thinking of an England that no longer exists and wants to find reasons beyond what is clearly going on but can't be mentioned online because of censorship. So the excuse for the terror attack is just pathetic and coping for the truth which is that his generations ideology (the boomers but also the "greatest generation") was wrong and that we will pay the price for their mistakes.
