I disagree people aren't prepared to tolorate hardships or sacrifices for no reason, the current lockdowns and fearmongering by the media and others has not helped to promote cooporation between people's and societies and rather are massive burdens put on the youth for the sake of the older generations, further more the lockdowns are a massive wealth transfer from the poor to the rich and lastely the lockdowns have created massive poverty, economic hardships and famines for the rest of the world. The response to the pandemic has been a total mess, hysterical and irrational and we will feel it's effects for many, many years to come, while the current deathtoll does not justify the amount of damage it has done. People aren't willing to give up everything for so little, so no wonder people are angry and resentfull, if your part of the youth you have a right to be angry.

@mjwilliamsb2676 the reason why it's spreading in Europe, north america and asia while being almost nonexistent in places like Africa is because the former populations are greying and much older than the ones from 3rd world nations, the virus largely hurts the elderly, the lockdowns and other measures taken are primarily for them, at the cost of the youth who from statistics show are about 99% able to survive the disease sometimes without even showing symptoms below the age of at least 50+ Yes it is a bit of a rant because im sick and tired of scared and afraid karens and political interest groups trying to capitalize on a crisis to benefit large corporations while the people who actualy have to pay for it all get fucked to extend the life of a bunch of elderly people who already lived through the good times and now demand even more. Im esspecialy tired of the spliting narrative by most people whenever I mention this who pretend it's "total lockdown or no lock down at all and if you disagree you hate people" bullshit I keep seeing, why not a smart lockdown? Where people who are most at risk, (elderly mostly) go into quarantine, while the rest of us can just do our jobs and earn food on the table for our families, force people to ware masks if you have to, desinfect hands more, this is partly what we did in the Netherlands and we are doing pretty good. The lockdowns were done in a moment of panic because the CCP lied and censored information from the start of the outbreak, if anything we sould be adressing them and how the disease came to be and potentialy create a more and smarter international response team/policy when this inevitably happens again. Im just so pissed at the lack of rationalism today and lying ass media trying to start a panic, they selectively report on infections and only mention deaths when they are high, rather than all the facts and data, demografics and how immunity works, it's frankly discusting and immoral how they have acted during all this and im sick of it.

@mjwilliamsb2676 your emotional response is predictable and tiring, all the while living from mostly our tax payd money and leaving us a broken world to pick up your pieces, it's fine we will have to fix it anyways but don't pretend like you know anything about me or lecture me about anger because you people realy deserve it and are treated as such for logical, objective reasons weather you like it or not. i hope you raised some good kids and grandkids because the rest of future society is unlikely to care about the old for very much longer in my opinion, simply because they can't afford it.

@thebrowns5337 bullshit, purely emotional fabrication on your part, assuming people would not do that, here in the netherlands we have done literaly everything you just sayd yet we also had a forced lockdown, people are angry that they can't generate their income which they need to survive, millions lost their jobs worldwide, we got it a bit lucky compared to other places since our government was smart enough to realise that we were following the guidelines so the lockdowns were unnessisary. the onyl threat from corona virus I see is people pretending like these lockdowns aren't huge humanitarian disasters, who look down on people who actualy work for a living and now can't pay their rent or have to force their kids to stay at another family member because the government told them they aren't allowed to go to work. unless the virus mutates and becomes way more deadly, the lockdowns are unjustificable, they were enforced in a moment of panic when little information was out but after several months it's clear that the lockdowns have been almost worst for people than the virus, which is why most European nations are opening up again and are now at about 70% functional again which to many means they just might stay afloat a while longer.

@mjwilliamsb2676 sure whatever you say gramps, we are just angry and blaming the elderly for the lockdowns that cost the younger people their jobs and losing their sources of income for fun, because we want someone to blame, not like we actualy had to lose something while being at almost 99% survival rate, unlike you elderly people who have much higher deathrates because well your old but sure it's just the old blame game, whatever you say gramps. I sure wonder why the youth don't give a shit about the elderly and why most of them end up in nursing homes, wasting away with nobody visiting them, it's almost like they don't care about what happens to the elder, no idea why. everyone gets infected it's a virus, just like everyone gets infected with the flu but only those who are idk older and have less effective immune system don't survive and that's a good thing too, imagine if we all lived in steriel bubbles and we never got sick, one good disease would wipe us all out if we did that. anyways good joke gramps, realy funny joke, realy showed those young whipersnappers like me what's the deal.

@steklf6340 you mean the people who profited the most and could raise families, have cheap homes and could live on one person income for a family of 4+ people who now due to pensions are putting a strain on youth who have almost no future prospect, on a dying in debt society, with no values or families, who can barely raise 2- children on a two income family? sure keep thinking we are the privileged ones, im sure that will help when your old and dying alone when everyone has abandoned you in a nursing home because why the fuck would they give a shit about you after what you left them? no wonder the youth are all messed up, suicidal and psychopathic, look who raised them.

@mjwilliamsb2676 you know it's realy annoying when you try and explain things to people in a rational and objective way to respond with the accusation that they are somehow stressed or angry for the fact that your feeling can't accept that they are true and so you project that onto the people who just explained to you why your a burden and why your generation had it beter but I suppose you could just pretend that is not the case and act all high and mighty like your beter than everyone because of your age, would not be the first time an elderly person did so to the youth that's forced to take care of them but whatever. enjoy my taxes and continue being a spoiled brat, don't realy care what you think since no matter what I say you will just keep pretending like you know me beter than I know myself. now go bother someone els, pest.
