  4.  @jett_power  the north even offered them to keep their slaves if they did not left the union, they left anyways so how is it about slavery? Imagine asking for something and then getting it and then refusing it and convince everyone the whole conflict was about getting something you already were offered, makes no sense. It's Stalin-Google cuss I hate Google and Stalin, it's a joke.

  5.  @jett_power  no, I don't think that's what I'm talking about, it was a discussion between southern and northern representatives before the civil war started in which Abraham Lincoln offered the south to keep their slaves if they stayed in the union and they refused and pushed for succesion anyways, which kind of makes the whole "civil war because of slavery" thing seems kind of silly. Taxes and a federal overreach was the main causes of the civil war, also makes more sense for poor white americans to fight and die in a civil war about taxes and representation than some rich plantation owners free labor laws.
