Friendly reminder that being gay is allowed in Poland, you just aren't allowed to promote it to children or adopt children or get married to someone of the same sex, that's it. You have more rights in Poland than Saudi-arabia or many parts of Africa.

@darjuz96 I don't realy care about your opinion, you aren't mature or looking at the big picture, while I do tolorate the LGBT community and think they deserve basic rights of being able to work, speak freely and protest for whatever they want, they still have to accept the political reality that there are bigger issues going on in the world and that Poland is a Christian and conservative nation and they have the right to rule how they like, the EU can try and force laws on them or make threats but that's not how you gain sympathy from the public. Perhaps you should argue why the majority would want to support your cause? Perhaps some benefit to them? Some prestige? Some economic benefits? Public relations benefits? Idk but make those arguments not just scream and demand more privilages to use tax payer money, how would you like it if someone stole your money to spend on things you consider immoral?

@d3thkn1ghtmcgee74 the EU does not uphold human rights or supports free speech at all, they also allow it to be broken by other members and on other topics with the same logic being used, so the issue is just political and used as a justification to harrass and threaten Poland, I remember a time when we tried to change the world for the better with words, arguments and logic, not sanctions and withholding of funding for the majority of the people. If you think Poland leaving the EU is a good idea for Poland or the EU you are naive and being very foolish, this is also why I don't take you serieusly because your agenda stands in the way of actual important issues like the economy, defence, trade, energy, things people need to survive. You act as if non action would result in hostile or anti humanitarian policies, the progression of values with time is on your side so why try and rush it by force? That could actually backfire on acceptance of the LGBT community, I know plenty of people who used to support them but now much less because of this nonsense. Try and focus on real issues and stop acting like a child like this is something important, it's not, the sooner we can mature out of this behavior of yours the sooner we can focus on actual issues that involved the majority not the 1%

@darjuz96 again you are deluding yourself by pretending like they are being oppressed, you are so spoiled and self centered that you can't even consider that the majority matter more than 1% of a minority which already has all the rights they need for a good, free and normal life, what you demand are privilages, tax payer money to promote what is not in the majority's interest. democracy means the people govern, not the 1% of a group that has no influence or power besides what corporations and western government empower, your cause is a hollow and shallow one and will only make people dislike you more. have you earned these privialges? no, are you acting in a way that makes people want to give you these privilages? no, do you promote and use blackmail and threats of economic hardships just to get your privialges? yes, now tell me, would you respect and give in to such demands? I don't think anyone would and even if they did it would make them quite resentfull towards you. perhaps you should reconsider your position, that might be for the best for your own self interest, im just saying.

@darjuz96 the majority is heterosexual and from a biological perspective non-hetero sexuals can't reproduce, demanding equality is impossible because the very nature of it goes against most religions, government interest and is not practiced by the majority of the population. You can attempt to be more accepted and be treated close to equal to the majority but if you want total acceptance by everyone, all the time, everywhere without any pushback or disagreement then you are living in a fantasy. Let me repeat, I don't mind what your advocating for but I also don't particularly care and find almost any other topic of greater importance than this and most people who advocate for your cause are making you look bad and making people less likely to be on your side, yes it's not fair but that's reality, if you want to make the world a better place, accepting and seeking to overcome reality as it is in a realistic manner is the first step in moving forward and being a positive effect on the world.

@darjuz96 be reasonable and realistic, so far time has been your greatest ally, so it's not like it's going to take 200 years, as Poland becomes richer, as it becomes more used to western standards and if LGBT communities become more tolorated (and perhaps less demanding and tiring for the majority to deal with) then you could have what you want in 10-20 years tops, if not sooner. So what are you worried about? You want it now? That's not realistic and is setting yourself up to be disapointed.

@HoneyTwee I prefer we deal with real issues like the homeless, how to make people wealthier, more free and more united against real authoritarian regimes like Russia or China than waste time pandering to a group of oppertunistic money grubbers who only want tax payer money to fund their non issue causes. your the authoritarian one who is helping authoritarian regimes get ahead, while we are stuck talking about these non issues. you already got all the rights you need, now your just talking about privilages, don´t waste everyone´s time, your manner of thinking is backwards, childish, spoiled and of no benefit to the majority of the population, perhaps focus on real issues and help the communities you wish to be a part of and then people will become more accepting? seems better than trying to force it though with no benefit to the majority, im just saying.

@HoneyTwee idk what your talking about, black people are both privilaged and being oppressed by the US government but it has almost nothing to do with race. African americans used to be much more stable and getting closer to white majority standards, back when racism towards them was actually real and much more extreme. Today being african americans means getting to universities easier, it means the media won't report on interracial crimes, yet at the same time there are groups of radicalized leftists who want to defund the cops, praise criminal behavior and have a condecending view of african americans as always being oppressed, it's really bizzar as a non-american to see this behavior and also disturbing how racist african americans are allowed to be and how they humiliate and demonize white people in their communities, while at the same time claiming they are being oppressed, it's insane. The idea that whites are being racist or oppressing african americans is just insane and the idea that "white supremacy" is the real threat to the USA is also delusional.

@yghhgy2547 in Poland it's between a man and a woman, you can disagree with it but it's a Christian country and they can do whatever the people/government demand. You got the same rules in almost all islamic countries as well as many Asian and African countries.

@HoneyTwee human dignity and/or disgrace is simply your opinion, in a democracy the people should have a voice in the government and laws exists to protect the rights of majorities and minorities, most of which the LGBT community has and probably is less likely to be harrased compared to western Europe. your not making a very good case for why the LGBT community deserves so much, from the polish perspective your views are stupid and messed up because the polish are very christian and have suffered a lot under communism, thus they don't want to become more like the more leftwing groups in western Europe because they are reminded of the soviet days. most western people don't understand the eastern European mindset so they don't understand why the polish are so against the LGBT community.

@HoneyTwee the democratic party does not hold people to the same standards, to them a black person is always oppressed, even if he lives in a mansion and has millions of dollars, while the poor white working class is always somehow the oppressor, it makes no sense and is deeply racist, these are the standards of the modern democratic party, so when you say only 13% that speaks volumes about how not racist the americans are but I do wonder what good it's going to do them in the long run, that's just an objective observation from the last 8 years. I think Victor David Hanson sums it up neatly for why the democratic party is so racist and divisive, you should read some of his work if you like.

@HoneyTwee the most ironic part is that this behavior by the democratic party and the pro african american organisations, promote and create support for white identitarian and white supremacist groups, because they are the ones being victimized and as a result they are less inclined to care about african american communities and sometimes want them to fail because that would be a benefit to their ethnic socio economic status. It's all pretty easy to see going on, the only solution seems to be how the republicans are doing, they treat everyone by the same standards, don't promote racialized policies and want to maintain a meritocratic system, that's the only way assimulation is ever going to work.
